Assistant Banquet Manager | The Star Event Centre

Reporting to the Banquet Manager, you will manage and run the day to day operations of Banquets for the Event Centre and The Star. The successful candidate will have in-depth knowledge of banquets and events operations, including experience within a similar fast-paced high-volume environment and advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office Products such as Outlook, Excel and Word.
A day in the life of an Assistant Banquet Manager
- Leading, motivating and engaging employees to continuously deliver five-star service in line with The Star's Service Culture
- Monitor the food and beverage stock, controlling costs, profit and loss expenses and wages through effective staffing levels
- Assisting in the recruitment, training and development of the BQT team (including performance reviews)
- Communicating with business stakeholders to ensure guest satisfaction is consistently achieved
