What we are looking for

Working within our People & Performance team the Project Consultant's main purpose in their role will be to execute the delivery of people project outcomes whilst ensuring work performed meets the business objectives and are delivered to time and cost targets and to high quality standards.

Key responsibilities in the role are but not limited to:

  • Co-ordinate and manage projects nominated by the Project Lead or the Group Manager People Consulting and Projects
  • Manage responsibilities within the projects to cost, time, scope and quality standards whilst ensuring a high level of stakeholder engagement
  • Assist with the scoping of work for the project requested
  • Prepare and issue project operational reports as required
  • Provide on-going evaluation of project delivery, suggesting new methods to maximise efficiencies where needed
  • Monitor the quality of service to ensure high standards are maintained
  • Ensure regular communication with the project team during project delivery to ensure customer satisfaction is achieved and the voice of the customer is heard
  • Conduct post implementation review
  • Report progress of projects to the Project Lead ensuring they are aware of progress and issues or roadblocks
  • Identify opportunities for informal leadership- to coach, mentor and build expertise within the project team

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Previous 4 years’ experience in Human Resources Consulting or Project Management
  • Tertiary qualification in either Human Resources, Psychology or Project Management
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to build strong rapport and relationships with internal stakeholders
