Executive Chef Peter Robertson is looking for a Sous Chef to join their culinary team at Flying Fish. This is an opportunity for you to develop your skills under the supervision of some of the best chefs in Sydney.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a passion and flair in the culinary space. They will have solid experience in a similar role within a reputable restaurant operation or fine dining.
- Be accountable for overseeing a section of the kitchen to ensure that the overall operation runs smoothly and effectively
- Handle and follow up all incidents immediately, and report accurately
- Train and develop your team
- Have thorough menu, product, portion control and preparation knowledge
- Maintaining food cost to parameter given by the company
- Keeping outlet ahead of HACCP standards
