As our Senior Manager of Cyber Security reporting to the Head of Cyber Security Consulting and Compliance, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership in embedding security principles in the technology solutions and systems delivery while aligning with the Head of Security Consulting and Compliance's vision.
This is a fantastic opportunity where you will foster collaboration across teams, including project teams, technical teams, and governance/risk management, to manage cyber risks and implement necessary security practices effectively.
A few of your responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership for the delivery of secure by design principles across the technology landscape.
- Conduct Secure by Design (SBD) assessments and Security Assurance Testing (SAT) for technology projects and deliver reports summarising findings.
- Manage the scope and delivery of SBD assessments and SAT, including those conducted by third parties.
- Track, prioritise, and ensure the implementation of security mitigations and recommendations and forecast resource needs to optimise SBD and SAT coverage.
- Document exemptions for projects where SBD or SAT are not required, ensuring alignment with security policies.
- Present security findings and recommendations to leadership clearly and concisely.
- Work with the Head of Security Consulting and Compliance to understand capital project, business change, and assurance supply requirements, ensuring the team effectively meets security needs across the organisation.
What we are looking for:
- Demonstrated ability and proven 10+ years cyber management consulting and experience with preparing presentations and reports for executive and senior management.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain strong relationships across business and technology staff.
- Demonstrated experience in delivering communications and training activities.
- Demonstrated ability to understand and manage process documentation
- Accredited tertiary qualifications in an Information Technology, Cyber Security, Governance, Business or a related discipline
