As a Technology Controls Senior Analyst, reporting to the Technology Controls Manager, you will perform defined controls testing, with a focus on Technology Controls.
The role will ensure that compliance and operational risks are effectively identified, assessed managed, while supporting The Star Sydney in meeting its regulatory requirements.
This is a fantastic opportunity where you can put your skills and knowledge to the test to deliver a thrilling new era for our Risk and Compliance team on a 9-month contract.
A few of your responsibilities:
- Conduct walkthroughs to identify, document, and assess technology, cyber, and data risks, including obligations and controls
- Execute control testing to evaluate effectiveness, residual risk, and compliance with frameworks and regulations
- Support stakeholders in enhancing obligations and controls to strengthen the risk environment
- Escalate key technology, cyber, and data risk issues to relevant governance forums
What we are looking for:
- Solid understanding of technology risk and controls in complex, regulated environments
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in technology risk management
- Knowledge of audit and assessment standards (e.g. CISA, CRISC)
- Familiarity with cyber security frameworks (e.g. NIST, Essential 8, ISO 27000, PCI DSS)
- Strong governance and stakeholder management skills
- Effective problem-solving ability
- Able to work independently and collaboratively
