As the Web & Cloud Technology Practice Lead, you will spearhead the strategic direction and operational excellence of our Web and Cloud development practice. You will be responsible for driving innovation, ensuring technical alignment, and embedding best practices across a team of 5 to 10 web and cloud developers. Your leadership will be instrumental in shaping scalable, secure, and high-performing digital solutions that align with Star IT Group’s standards and business goals.

This role places a strong emphasis on cloud technologies—particularly AWS and Azure—while also valuing experience in modern web frameworks such as Drupal and React.

A few of your responsibilities:

  • Lead the Web & Cloud Practice, define and promote best practices, coding standards, and architectural principles across cloud and web development teams.
  • Oversee solution design, consultation and delivery in collaboration within Digital and cross-functional teams (Architecture, Integration, Cybersecurity, Infra & Network and Data Analytics)
  • Lead the design and delivery of cloud-native and web-based solutions, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and security standards
  • Guide DevOps and software development cycles to ensure high-quality, secure and scalable solutions.
  • Provide expert technical advice, giving diagnosis and troubleshooting on digital issues to stakeholders and support Agile delivery practices.

What we are looking for:

  • 10+ years of experience in web, integration, and AWS development.
  • Strong expertise in AWS/Azure, DevOps, CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, and cloud security.
  • Proven ability to lead technical discussions and produce detailed solution documentation.
  • Experience with cross-platform integration and modern development practices.
  • Desirable knowledge of Drupal, React, PHP and JavaScript frameworks.
