As a Demi Chef in Dorsett Gold Coast, you will be given the opportunity to work alongside some of the best Chefs in our worldclass restaurants!

A few of your responsibilities:

  • Run specific sections assigned by the Sous Chef
  • Oversee duties or work stations
  • Advise management of inventory requirements
  • Conduct on-the-job training and mentoring our Commis and Apprentice Chefs

What are we looking for:

  • Successful completion of a Cert 3 in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)
  • Extensive experience working in a busy, fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities
  • The ability to efficiently work as part of the team
  • Passionate about learning new techniques and skills
  • Flexible availability over a 7-day roster
