As our Guest Support Officer reporting to the Patron Liaison Manager, you will drive the implementation of safer gambling initiatives and support our valued guests in making informed decisions.

This is a fantastic opportunity for students, graduates and professionals looking to join our Safer Gaming team in Sydney on a full time basis and contribute to fostering a safer gambling culture at The Star.

 

 

A few of your responsibilities

 

  • Provide empathetic support to guests experiencing challenges related to gambling
  • Promote safer gambling practices through proactive communication
  • Collaborate with internal teams to enhance safety measures and awareness

 

What we are looking for

 

  • Experience in guest relations, Responsible Gambling programmes, Hospitality, support services, social work, security, education
  • Demonstrated ability in developing productive relationships, understanding of applicable laws, regulations, policy, relevant codes, safer gambling strategy and supporting information as they relate to the company
  • Ability to demonstrate problem solving skills and show innovative thinking
