As our Investigations Manager reporting to the General Manager Investigations, you will lead and conduct thorough investigations, ensuring integrity, confidentiality, and fairness in all inquiries.

This is a fantastic opportunity as you’ll lead a team of professional investigators, manage databases, analyse suspicious behavior, and liaise with law enforcement agencies. Additionally, you’ll maintain operational integrity and build strong relationships with regulatory bodies.

 

A few of your responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the Investigations Department and conduct background and internal investigations of employee suppliers, contractors and patrons and as directed, also conducting specific executive, legal and audit investigations.
  • Pro-actively liaise with the investigation units of other Hotels/Casinos for intelligence purposes and to keep abreast of any developments within the gaming industry.
  • Oversee the development of a database to record all investigations (internal and external) to produce investigations reports used in association with monthly and quarterly reporting and external regulator reports.
  • Formulate training requirements for Investigations, Audit, Surveillance and Security staff and where necessary, be involved in the practical training programme for the casino.
  • Manage and co-ordinate The Star’s databases recording all information relating to suspicious behaviour and compiling statistical information and analysis of issues for management review.

 

What we are looking for:

  • Qualified Investigator with experience in either criminal investigations, workplace investigations or regulatory investigations.
  • Demonstrated extensive experience within a law enforcement agency.
  • Exposure to a casino and/or gaming environment is desirable.
  • Understanding of relevant statutory and reporting requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability in leadership, mentoring and team training.
