As a Gaming Area Manager, you will be central to executing departmental objectives, driving cultural transformation, and building team engagement.

This is a fantastic opportunity where you will take good care of both our Gaming team as well as our guests.

A few of your responsibilities: 

  • Maximise revenue and minimise costs throughout the department to meet company and division revenue budgets and improve operating results and growth
  • Actively support and contribute to the effective management and control of Gaming Operations labour costs and operating expenses, ensuring operational requirements and profit objectives are met, including reviewing staffing levels on an ongoing basis and manage Gaming mix to maximise revenue, drive growth and meet supply and demand
  • Manage and develop team engagement, reward and recognition, performance and development, including coaching and mentoring, managing team member relations, conflict and unsatisfactory performance and disciplinary processes as appropriate
  • Support and build the skills of team members to facilitate career development
  • Manage guest queries and gaming disputes in accordance with all rules and regulations as approved by OLGR whilst delivering exceptional guest service
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements, company policies and procedures, including Responsible Gambling and Responsible Service of Alcohol

What we are looking for:

  • Previous experience as a Gaming Operations Supervisor or have Senior leadership experience
  • Ability to provide exceptional guest service in all aspects of your role as a leader
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, including the ability to inspire, influence and lead to deliver exceptional guest service with the ability to build internal and external business relationships
  • Proven stakeholder management capabilities
  • Strong understanding of relevant statutory regulations and reporting requirements
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills as you work with a diverse guest and team member base
  • Polished five-star grooming and personal presentation
  • Availability to work across a 24/7 roster
  • Attention to detail and dedication to maintaining game integrity
  • Currently hold or be eligible to obtain a Queensland Key Employee Casino Licence (KE)
