As our Product Owner reporting to the Platform Delivery Manager (Regulatory and Compliance Technologies), you will be responsible for the continuous delivery of assigned platforms, working closely with key stakeholders to provide data-based solutions.

This is a fantastic opportunity where you will utilise your analytical skills to determine the best practice approach to deliver the product roadmap.

 

A few of your responsibilities:

  • Product innovation and design using user research, user centred design and customer centric design
  • Conceptualising new online/interactive products and services and managing business facing products
  • Assess value, develop cases, and prioritise stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product strategy
  • Provide backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories
  • Provide vision and direction to the Agile development team and stakeholders throughout the project / continuous development cycle
  • Work closely with architecture team to ensure business priorities and goals align with architectural solutions and roadmaps

 

 

What we are looking for:

  •  2yrs+ experience in a Product Owner role or similar (e.g., Project Manager / BA)
  • Experience in an environment with a strong systems regulation requirement
  • Ability to clearly communicate, both written and oral, with attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise and make effective decisions
  • Bachelor’s degree (Business/E-Commerce/ /Information Systems) or equivalent experience
  • Certifications: SQL experience, SDLC Knowledge, ITIL Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organisation

You are a motivated individual who takes initiative and can manage multiple concurrent priorities in a fast-paced environment. You can apply your understanding from having worked in regulated environments to deliver data solutions that achieve our vision and support The Star’s transition through embedding change.

Your role will be pivotal in driving impactful outcomes and shaping future solutions within the IT Shared Services department.
