The Star Gold Coast currently has an exciting opportunity to join the team as an Events Coordinator on a 12 Month Contract.

As the Events Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting the events team in the coordination and retention of conferences and events for The Star Gold Coast. 

This is a fantastic opportunity where you will showcase your events and customer service skills. Please note that this role a 12-month, Max Term Full-Time contract. 

A few of your responsibilities: 

  • Assist the Event Planners with the coordination and smooth delivery of conferences and events
  • Effectively manage all aspects of event planning administration 
  • Financial account management for all events on the property, including managing deposit schedules and invoice issuing 
  • Supporting the Event Planning Manager on event allocations of conference/event files for future business 

What are we looking for: 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Ability to proactively work within a fast-paced environment  
  • Thorough knowledge of the Opera Sales & Catering Systems in conjunction with Opera (Advanced Reporting and CAD programme desirable) 
  • Previous experience within Events or Event Coordination
