The Star Brisbane is Australia’s newest entertainment hub at the heart of the new Queen’s Wharf Brisbane precinct. The first phase is now open, with more venues and experiences on the way. The Star Brisbane offers a variety of new dining, bars, and unique entertainment options. It also includes a five-star luxury hotel, The Star Grand, and a state-of-the-art Event Centre.
This transformational project has brought even more excitement and anticipation to burgeoning Brisbane. It will redefine how people play, shop, and socialise in the river city.
The Houseperson, reporting to the Assistant Housekeeping Manager, Supports our Room Attendants in their duties and assist with ensuring that our guests stay is as comfortable as possible
A few of your responsibilities
- Respond and assist with guest queries and request’s to ensure any issues with a guest’s room are attended to promptly
- Clean hotel rooms if required
- Stock trolleys with linen and guest supplies
- Delivery of linens and products used throughout the hotel
- Ensuring all areas of the hotels are clean, presentable and safe.
- Use hotel software to communicate with colleagues and log completed tasks
- Report suspicious guest behaviour to your leader
What we will be looking for
- Availability to work overnight shifts
- A good understanding of time management

- The ability to build trust and teamwork
- Great communication skills

About us
The $3.6 billion Queen’s Wharf Brisbane development is being delivered by Destination Brisbane Consortium – a joint venture led by The Star Entertainment Group alongside its partners.
When complete, Queen’s Wharf Brisbane will deliver four new luxury hotels, more than 50 new food and beverage experiences, significant luxury retail, the restoration of nine heritage buildings and around 1,500 residential apartments.
