As our Senior Controls Analyst, reporting to the Controls Manager, you will provide business analysis skills to support the effective design and implementation of controls to meet business processes. This includes supporting the investigation when there has been a process breakdown to identify the root cause and potential process and control enhancements. You will also assist with risk management across the broader business and take on risk advisory responsibilities. 

This is a fantastic opportunity where you will assist the business in identifying and documenting operational risks and conducting control self-assessments whilst partnering with the stakeholders to build their risk and controls capabilities. 

A few of your responsibilities

  • Conduct business analysis to identify requirements and document process maps. 

  • Act as the liaison between the business units, technology, risk and compliance teams. 

  • Conduct deep dives into incidents and control deficiencies to understand root causes and develop appropriate plans to address gaps. 

  • Work with the business to document and test controls 

  • Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, work with the other properties to understand the processes to put forward recommendations to the business owners and the controls team. 

  • Undertake Risk Assessments as required by the business and provide risk advisory support for any Risk in Change activities 

 

What we are looking for: 

 

  • Proven experience providing business analysis in a commercial or technology organisation. 

  • Excellent organisation skills, specifically within process management and documentation. 

  • Advanced analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills. 

  • Excellent communication skills, both in terms of written (documentation) and verbal (e.g. facilitating workshops). 

  • Bachelor’s degree in commerce or technology or accreditation in Business Analysis desirable.

With a solid background in breach management, compliance, and continuous process improvement, you thrive in fast-paced environments. Proactive and innovative, you stay ahead of industry trends and foster a culture of accountability and resilience.
