As our Group Manager Internal Audit reporting to the Group Chief Audit Officer, you will have the opportunity to craft a refreshed internal audit team. Working with your team, you will lead delivery of internal audit across all properties as a group wide function.

This is a fantastic opportunity to build and lead the Internal Audit team and to support a program of work associated with uplifting Internal Audit.

 

A few of your responsibilities:

  • Build and lead a high performing internal audit team
  • Lead the development and delivery of the risk-based annual Internal Audit plan.
  • Provide leadership and development for Internal Audit team members.
  • Prepare and present a quarterly status summary to the Board Audit Committee.
  • Develop key internal and external relationships and participate in key management forums including the NSW and the QLD Risk Committees.

What we are looking for:

  • Strong strategic thinking, stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Extensive experience in the provision of high quality Internal Audit.
  • Practical experience with the application of data analytics
  • Exposure to auditing complex information technology and associated change programs
  • Demonstrated capability to support internal audit transformation

 

You are a seasoned audit professional with extensive experience in leading and managing high quality internal audit functions in complex fast-paced environment. As a natural leader, you excel in building high-performing teams, fostering collaboration and driving continuous improvement. You are proactive, adaptable and committed to upholding the highest standards of quality, governance and integrity.
