Join our team as a Gaming Services Host at The Star Brisbane.
The Star Brisbane is Australia’s newest entertainment hub at the heart of the new Queen’s Wharf Brisbane precinct. The first phase is now open, with more venues and experiences on the way. The Star Brisbane offers a variety of new dining, bars, and unique entertainment options. It also includes a five-star luxury hotel, The Star Grand, and a state-of-the-art Event Centre.
This transformational project has brought even more excitement and anticipation to burgeoning Brisbane. It will redefine how people play, shop, and socialise in the river city.
The Gaming Services Host position reports directly to the Premium Services Operations Supervisor and is responsible for maintaining a high level of customer service and providing a positive and memorable guest experience through proactively engaging with our guests. This is a great opportunity to showcase your skills and thrive in the Premium Services team.
A few of your responsibilities:
- Meet and greet guests at the entrance to the private gaming area.
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers to achieve established service standards and repeat business.
- Signing up new members to the Star Club loyalty programme.
- Assist the marketing department in all related activities including promotions, tournaments, gift days, events, functions and the rewards programme.
What are we looking for:
- Must be able to work on a 24/7 rotating roster
- Experience in a guest service-related field
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Computer literacy essential

With your exceptional attention to detail and customer centric background, you will take pride in ensuring a fun and unforgettable experience for our guests. Your ability to work collaboratively with a large and diverse team will set our Electronic Gaming Team up for success.
