As a Surveillance Trainee Operator, you will be provided training to monitor, accurately record, investigate and report threats of casino revenue, safety of persons, illegal/undesirable activity and the integrity of gaming operations in an efficient and effective manner within our Surveillance department.

A few of your responsibilities: 

  • Maintain a constant vigilance to identify, record and report suspicious, illegal or undesirable activity
  • Establish and maintain a high level of property and department knowledge
  • Monitor alarm systems and coordinate the appropriate response when needed
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and operational policy, reporting any violations to the Shift Manager

What we are looking for:

  • High level of personal integrity and ability to work in an extremely restricted and confidential environment
  • Strong mathematical aptitude as well as moderate to advanced computer skills
  • Knowledge relating to CCTV, Security, alarm systems and other job-related programmes and systems (desired but not essential)
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Currently hold or be eligible to obtain a Queensland Casino Licence (CE)/Queensland Key Employee Casino Licence (KE), Responsible Service of Alcohol & Responsible Service of Gambling
  • Availability to work any shift during a 24-hour rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
