Join our team as a Casino Cashier at The Star Brisbane.  

The Star Brisbane is Australia’s newest entertainment hub at the heart of the new Queen’s Wharf Brisbane precinct. The first phase is now open, with more venues and experiences on the way. The Star Brisbane offers a variety of new dining, bars, and unique entertainment options. It also includes a five-star luxury hotel, The Star Grand, and a state-of-the-art Event Centre. This transformational project has brought even more excitement and anticipation to burgeoning Brisbane. It will redefine how people play, shop, and socialise in the river city.

We are now seeking expressions of interest for part-time Casino Cashiers looking to be part of the inaugural team.

The Casino Cashier, reporting directly to the Cashier Services Supervisor, is responsible for greeting guests and providing a quality service for gaming related transactions. 

We are seeking passionate individuals with a keen eye for detail to join our dynamic and growing Cash Services team. Operating within the gaming division and reporting directly to the Cashier Services Supervisor, you will serve as the primary point of contact for our guests, ensuring a seamless and exceptional experience.

What will your day look like?

  • Exchanging gaming chips and vouchers for cash
  • Processing payments for Electronic Gaming operations
  • Selling and redeeming Keno tickets
  • Sort, count and balance floats
  • Maintain impeccable, timely and efficient guest service

What are we looking for?

  • Previous high volume money handling or banking experienced highly regarded
  • Outstanding communication skills along with guest service experience
  • High level of attention to detail ensuring speed and accuracy
  • Flexible availability for rotating shifts within a 24/7 environment
