Senior Payroll Officer – Payroll | 12-Month FT

As our Senior Payroll Officer, reporting to the Group Manager Payroll Operations, you will support the Payroll team in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing while acting as the first point of contact for escalated payroll queries and providing guidance to team members.

This is a fantastic opportunity where you will lead the accurate and compliant delivery of payroll services, while mentoring others and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives in line with our purpose of creating fun at trusted destinations.

A few of your responsibilities:

  • Review completed payrolls for accuracy and authorise payroll-related third-party payments
  • Resolve complex and escalated payroll queries as the first point of contact
  • Provide on-the-job training and mentoring for Payroll Officers
  • Complete Month-End payroll activities in accordance with statutory and internal policies
  • Participate in payroll projects and workshops to drive continuous improvement

What we are looking for:

  • Extensive experience in large payroll environments (2,000+ employees)
  • Solid knowledge of payroll systems, preferably SAP and SuccessFactors
  • Strong understanding of relevant financial and statutory regulations
  • High level of accuracy, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and mentoring capabilities

You are a detail-oriented and experienced payroll professional, comfortable navigating high-volume environments and ensuring compliance with a wide range of legislation and internal procedures. You thrive in a collaborative setting where your mentorship helps others develop, and you are confident managing end-to-end payroll functions with precision.

Your role will be pivotal in shaping the success of our payroll operations, ensuring our team members are supported with accurate, efficient, and compliant payroll services.
