Senior Risk Advisor – Risk & Insurance

As our Senior Risk Advisor, reporting to the Head of Risk Frameworks & Systems, you will support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the enterprise risk management framework. This role links directly to our company vision by ensuring effective identification, assessment, and management of risks across the organisation, contributing to strategic alignment and uplift of risk culture and capability.

This is a fantastic opportunity where you will provide expert advice, analysis, and guidance to divisions and senior stakeholders, helping to embed risk practices that support safer gambling and good business practices.

A few of your responsibilities:

  • Support the design, implementation and embedment of enterprise risk frameworks and tools
  • Lead enhancements to risk systems and reporting platforms to improve usability, data quality and insights
  • Provide expert risk advice to remediation milestones as well as divisions, projects and strategic initiatives
  • Facilitate risk conversations and workshops to support decision-making
  • Develop and deliver high-quality risk reporting to senior management, committees and the Board

What we are looking for:

  • Strategic thinking with the ability to connect risk insights to business strategy
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Sound analytical skills to interpret complex risk data
  • Proficiency in risk management systems and data visualisation tools (e.g. Archer)
  • Experience in driving risk culture and capability uplift

About you:

You are a seasoned risk professional with experience in enterprise or operational risk roles, ideally within complex organisations. You hold tertiary qualifications in Risk Management, Business, Finance, Law, or a related discipline, and may also have professional certifications such as CRM, GRC, or PRMIA.

Your role will be pivotal in shaping the success of our Group Risk function by ensuring our risk practices are aligned with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry standards.
