The Safety Advisor, reporting to the Safety Manager, plays a key role in supporting The Star Sydney’s goal of reducing workplace incidents and injuries. This role contributes to enhancing the health, wellbeing, and productivity of team members through proactive safety initiatives and support.

A few of your responsibilities
- Support implementation of The Star Sydney’s Safety Management System (SMS)
- Build collaborative relationships with leaders to promote H&S engagement
- Contribute to continuous improvement of H&S systems and processes
- Assist in incident investigations and share learnings across the business
- Help develop, implement, and review Emergency Management Plans
What we are looking for
- 3+ years WHS experience in a large organisation
- Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (or equivalent)
- Proven ability to build strong relationships and lead change
- Solid understanding of WHS legislation and standards
- Tertiary qualifications in WHS

You are a safety-focused professional with a strong understanding of WHS legislation and a passion for creating safer, healthier workplaces. With experience in operational safety within large organisations, you bring a proactive approach to risk management, incident prevention, and continuous improvement.
Your ability to build collaborative relationships and drive engagement ensures safety is embedded in everyday operations.
