As our Financial Crime Risk Analyst, reporting to the Senior Manager Financial Crime Risk, you will support the Financial Crime team within Group Risk to ensure best-in-industry practices are achieved and regulatory obligations are met.
This is a fantastic opportunity where you will contribute to the enterprise-wide ML/TF risk assessment process, helping to shape a risk-aware culture and support continuous improvement across our operations.
A few of your responsibilities:
- Conduct ML/TF risk assessments in line with regulatory frameworks and internal methodologies and requirements.
- Extract and analyse internal and external data to enhance understanding of financial crime risks.
- Contribute to the development and amendment of ML/TF risk assessment frameworks and methodologies.
- Report emerging or escalated risks to the Senior Manager, Financial Crime Risk.
- Engage with industry and regulatory guidance to maintain current knowledge of financial crime risk.
What we are looking for:
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a risk management, compliance or financial crime role within a casino, bank, financial services, ASX-listed company, regulatory agency or consulting firm.
- Strong analytical and research skills with a high level of critical thinking.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and analytical software.
- Ability to work collaboratively and build strong stakeholder relationships.
