The Employee Relations Coordinator, reporting to the Senior Employee Relations Advisor, will provide guidance and support to leaders on low level Employee Relations queries and matters at The Star Sydney.

This is a fantastic opportunity where you can put your skills and knowledge to the test to deliver a thrilling new era for People Operations team.

A few of your responsibilities

  • Advise leaders on low-risk ER matters, including probation, abandonment, flexible work, and performance plans
  • Provide initial guidance on interpreting and applying company policies
  • Support the ER team with admin tasks such as meeting notes, minutes, and documentation
  • Address ER queries and escalate to Senior ER Advisor or ER Advisor when needed

What we are looking for

  • Entry-level HR experience in mid to large organisations
  • Skilled in coordinating various HR admin functions
  • Experience collaborating across multiple teams and locations
  • Background in fast-paced service industry environments

You’re an organised and proactive HR professional with a passion for employee relations and a strong foundation in HR practices.  You bring a collaborative mindset, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering timely, accurate advice on ER matters.
