The Star Brisbane is Australia’s newest entertainment hub at the heart of the new Queen’s Wharf Brisbane precinct. The first phase is now open, with more venues and experiences on the way. The Star Brisbane offers a variety of new dining, bars, and unique entertainment options. It also includes a five-star luxury hotel, The Star Grand, and a state-of-the-art Event Centre. This transformational project has brought even more excitement and anticipation to burgeoning Brisbane. It will redefine how people play, shop, and socialise in the river city.

As the Senior Storeperson, you will be responsible for leading the safe and efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of goods. You will be a hands-on team player who ensures our operations run smoothly, maintains high standards of stock control, and champions safety, accuracy, and exceptional service.

This is a fantastic opportunity where you can put your skills and knowledge to the test to deliver a thrilling new era for entertainment.  

A few of your responsibilities  

• Receiving, unloading, and distributing deliveries; reporting damages or discrepancies
• Maintaining accurate inventory registers and preparing regular stock movement reports
• Completing goods administration: checking quality, weight, pricing, and documentation
• Managing rotation and timely delivery of perishable items
• Liaising with the Operations Manager and Facilities to ensure optimal equipment performance
• Participating in shift briefings and effective handovers
• Supporting positive interdepartmental relationships
• Completing receipting and approval of invoices using Oracle and Converga
• Supporting team coordination and acting as a delegate for the Operations Manager when required
• Ensuring warehouse and dock access security
• Responding to email queries and resolving delivery issues
• Conducting HACCP inspections and maintaining related documentation
• Adhering to safety and OHS standards as per Star Brisbane policies
• rovide expert advice and practical solutions across compliance and risk matters
• Monitor, report, and escalate issues to ensure regulatory obligations are met
• Lead investigations and root cause analysis of non-compliance and near misses

What we will be looking for 

• School Certificate
• MR Truck License & Forklift Licence
• Demonstrated experience in Supply Chain Administration
• Sound understanding of warehouse operations and inventory systems
• Knowledge of Check SCM and Oracle procurement systems desirable
• Strong communication, organisation, and leadership skills
• High attention to detail, and a commitment to safe work practices
