Senior Business Analyst – Financial Crime

As our Senior Business Analyst, reporting to the Senior Manager Financial Crime, you will support the AML & CTF – Financial Crime division in delivering strategic and operational initiatives that align with The Star’s commitment to ethical and responsible business practices.
This is a fantastic opportunity where you will apply your business analysis expertise to support the effective implementation of the financial remediation plan, helping shape the future of financial crime risk management across the organisation.
A few of your responsibilities:
- Elicit and analyse business requirements using a variety of techniques including workshops, interviews, and documentation review.
- Develop current and future state assessments, operating models, and business cases.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across technology and business units to ensure timely and effective project delivery.
- Design and execute test scripts and scenarios, coordinating with business units to validate new applications and functions.
- Maintain strong stakeholder relationships to ensure alignment and understanding of system changes and new features.

- Advanced analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
- Proven experience in financial crime transformation and business analysis.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives and adapt to change.
About you:
You are a seasoned Business Analyst with over 7 years of experience in commercial or technology organisations, ideally with a background in financial crime transformation. You bring a strategic mindset, strong documentation skills, and a collaborative approach to stakeholder engagement.
Your role will be pivotal in shaping the success of our financial crime risk management initiatives, ensuring compliance and operational excellence across The Star Entertainment Group.
