As a Technical Business Analyst reporting into the Head of Data and Analytics, you will collaborate with IT and various business units to determine deliverables for data projects You will also act as a bridge between the Data and Analytics Team and the broader business to align project objectives with organisational goals.

A few of your responsibilities

  • Work across IT and the broader business to assist the Data and Analytics Team to determine data project deliverables.
  • Bridge the gap between business and IT by mapping, analysing, and documenting business processes and requirements.
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of how new business processes are implemented within the Data & Analytics team.
  • Collaborate closely with our data and analytics team to ensure that the data we utilise continues to meet the highest standards of quality, accuracy, and usability.
  • Conduct comprehensive analyses on software programmes, applications, and web services to ensure optimal functionality and performance.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and end-users to evaluate the efficiency and functionality of our systems.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports on system development projects, securing necessary approvals from management.

What we are looking for

  • Highly skilled in verbal and written communication to analyse, interpret and address customer needs at multiple levels.
  • Displayed effective interaction with multiple levels of the workforce and leadership.
  • Displayed ability to work with minimal guidance or supervision in a time critical environment.
  • Ability to be flexible and quickly adapt to changing business needs and processes.
  • Qualified and experienced in the delivery of project solutions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology (or equivalent experience) with a minimum of 2+ years of business application development experience.
  • Seeking 2+ years’ experience working with databases and/or cloud platforms.
