The Manager Strategic Analytics will lead the Analytics team at The Star Sydney, championing data-driven decision-making to enhance guest experiences, drive commercial performance, and streamline operational processes.

This role will also deliver strategic insights into customer behaviour, loyalty program effectiveness, and revenue optimisation, ensuring that key business decisions are informed by robust analytical evidence.

A few of your responsibilities:

  • Lead The Star Sydney’s analytics strategy and execution
  • Design effective data analysis and reporting approaches
  • Oversee selection and implementation of analytics solutions
  • Deliver insights to guide campaign development and ROI targets
  • Support gaming innovation and optimisation through analytics
  • Drive data-led strategies to enhance gaming, hospitality, and loyalty performance

What we are looking for:

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in customer analytics, segmentation, or marketing-related disciplines
  • Proven leadership with initiative, accountability, and influence
  • Tertiary qualification in Statistics, Analytics, or Marketing
  • Proficient in data visualisation tools (e.g. Cognos, TM1, Tableau, PowerBI)
  • Experience in cloud-based data solutions using platforms such as Azure or AWS
  • Advanced SQL and database query skills
  • Skilled in advanced analytics tools/languages (e.g. SAS, SPSS, R, Python)

You’re a strategic thinker with a passion for turning data into actionable insights that drive commercial success. With a strong background in customer analytics, segmentation, and marketing, you bring at least four years of experience in leveraging data to influence business outcomes.

You’re confident leading teams and projects, known for your initiative, accountability, and ability to inspire others.
