Risk Assurance and Audit Data Analyst – Group Risk Internal Audit and Assurance

As our Risk Assurance and Audit Data Analyst, reporting to the Senior Manager Risk Assurance, you will support the Group Risk Internal Audit and Assurance division in delivering data-driven insights that validate compliance with regulatory requirements and assess the effectiveness of our control environment.

This is a fantastic opportunity where you will conduct data analytics to support Line 2 risk assurance and Line 3 internal audit reviews, helping ensure TSEG’s operations align with our risk management framework and regulatory obligations.

A few of your responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute data analytics work within committed timeframes according to assurance/audit requirements.
  • Prepare concise work papers to evidence assurance/internal audit work performed.
  • Work closely with Technology and business stakeholders to understand data sources and availability.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for process enhancements and continuous improvement.
  • Promote and participate in a risk-aware culture across the organisation.

What we are looking for:

  • Experience in data analytics using Excel, SQL Server, Azure or similar platforms.
  • Experience in assurance, audit, compliance or risk roles in complex, regulated environments.
  • Strong risk and control mindset with understanding of risk management frameworks.
  • Advanced analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
