Guest Support Officer (GSO) – Safer Gambling
Guest Support Officers are the frontline of safer gambling guest support, delivering proactive and meaningful interactions across the gaming floor.
As a Guest Support Officer, you will play a key role in promoting safer gambling practices by engaging directly with guests, conducting warm check-ins, and supporting adherence to time-based play requirements. This is a highly interactive, floor-based role requiring strong communication skills and confidence in approaching guests.
Reporting to the Guest Support Managers and Safer Gambling Duty Managers, you will:
- Engage with guests to encourage responsible play and break-taking behaviours
- Monitor and support compliance with time play limits and interventions
- Provide empathetic, non-judgemental support to guests displaying signs of gambling-related harm
- Deliver consistent and professional on-floor interactions aligned to safer gambling procedures
- Refer guests seeking exclusion or additional support to Guest Support Managers
- Guide guests toward external support services, including gambling counselling.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to enhance awareness and safer gambling outcomes

What We're Looking For:
- Experience in guest relations, support services, social work, security or education
- Demonstrated ability to develop productive relationships, policies, and safer gambling strategies
- Ability to demonstrate problem solving skills and show innovative thinking
- Effectively demonstrating the ability to make sound judgements and make informed decisions to mitigate risks
- Ability to identify indications of gambling issues and assisting guests in making decisions regarding their ongoing gambling safety
