To ensure The Star delivers the full complement of luxury standards, we have dedicated departments that service our guests every need, one of our busiest and hardest working departments is our full-service laundry. As a Laundry Attendant, you will play an essential role in operating various machinery to process the cleaning of staff uniforms and guest dry cleaning.
This is a fantastic opportunity where you will take good care of both our valued guests as well as our team.
A few of your responsibilities
- Perform laundry duties including the sorting, processing and folding uniforms, clothing garments and linens
- Safely and efficiently use various machinery involved in the cleaning process
- Maintain a clean, organised and efficient laundry facility
- Ensure the timely return of guests' dry cleaning and team members’ uniforms
What are we looking for
- Previous experience in dry cleaning or commercial laundry is beneficial, but not required
- Ability to safely and efficiently perform physical tasks, including pushing, pulling, and lifting heavy objects, as part of the laundry operations
- Capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a large team
- Flexibility to work across a 24/7 rotating roster
