As an Assistant Venue Manager in M&G Café & Harvest Buffet, you will be a pro-active and enthusiastic individual who is an expert within leading a large and diverse team. In this role you will assist with the day–to-day operation of these high volume venues providing effective management of a dynamic team.  

This is a fantastic opportunity where you will showcase your food and beverage leadership and customer service skills.

A few of your responsibilities: 

  • Maintain a high level of guest focus in all services, ensuring that guest service delivery is effective and efficient
  • Coordinate operational functions that include rostering requirements, standard operating procedures, training and performance management  
  • Ensure compliance with the Responsible Service of Alcohol and relevant provisions of the Liquor Act  
  • Assist with the selection, training and development of the team to ensure timely recruitment and career growth opportunities  
  • Assist the Venue Manager to achieve operational and financial targets 

What are we looking for: 

  • Food & Beverage leadership experience with a thorough knowledge of food and beverages 
  • A passion and enthusiasm for the hospitality industry and leading operational teams to deliver great guest experiences  
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of guests and team members  
  • Highly organised, accountable, and eager, with a high attention to detail  
  • Accreditation in Responsible Service of Alcohol – RMLV/Approved Manager an advantage
