As the Sous Chef in Food Quarter, you will support with leading the team, always ensuring consistency in high quality product and service standards. You will work seamlessly with the Food & Beverage operations team to provide a positive and memorable guest experience.   

A few of your responsibilities 

  • Monitoring of daily operations, payroll, costs, and guest satisfaction 
  • Assist with preparation of menus, team rostering and leave applications 
  • Develop training plans and support daily learning of the team 
  • Participate in shift briefings to ensure smooth service 

What are we looking for 

  • Proven Senior Chef experience required in a large busy restaurant
  • Experience driving quality and consistency, with a passion for food and a keen desire for continuous learning 
  • Ability to ensure a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness within the kitchen 
  • Previous knowledge of food and labour cost controls, with basic computer skills 
  • A warm, naturally engaging personality that takes pride in delivering a memorable product 
  • Flexible availability, including weekends and public holidays
