This is a fantastic opportunity where you will play a key role in assessing TSEG’s compliance with financial crime regulatory requirements, internal policies and risk management frameworks, and the effectiveness of the financial crime control environment.
A few of your responsibilities
- Lead and deliver risk-based assurance reviews, including control testing, thematic reviews, and process assessments across financial crime programs.
- Assess the design and effectiveness of financial crime controls and provide clear, practical recommendations to strengthen control environments.
- Prepare and present high-quality assurance reports, findings, and insights to senior stakeholders and governance forums.
- Provide independent review and challenge on financial crime risks, regulatory obligations, change initiatives, and control frameworks.
- Build strong stakeholder relationships, influence risk management outcomes, and represent Risk Assurance in governance and project forums.
- Lead, coach, and develop team members while driving continuous improvement through data analytics, innovation, and best-practice assurance methodologies.
What we are looking for
We are seeking a proactive and collaborative professional who can deliver quality outcomes in a dynamic environment.
- Extensive experience (8+ years) in assurance, compliance, risk management, or financial crime within gaming, financial services, government, or other regulated industries.
- Strong understanding of risk management frameworks and financial crime disciplines, including AML/CTF, sanctions, and anti-bribery and corruption.
- Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence outcomes and drive accountability across the business.
- Strategic and analytical mindset, with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to simplify complex issues and identify practical solutions.
- Strong organisational skills with a track record of managing multiple priorities, delivering quality outcomes, and meeting deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with relevant tertiary qualifications and industry certifications (e.g. ACAMS, ICA) highly regarded.
