This is a fantastic opportunity where you will play a key role in assessing TSEG’s compliance with financial crime regulatory requirements, internal policies and risk management frameworks, and the effectiveness of the financial crime control environment.
A few of your responsibilities
- Support the planning and delivery of Line 2 assurance reviews, ensuring activities are conducted in line with approved methodologies and timelines.
- Execute assurance activities, including control testing and data analysis, to assess the effectiveness of risk management controls and business processes.
- Identify, assess and communicate control weaknesses, emerging risks and improvement opportunities, providing practical and evidence-based recommendations.
- Prepare clear and insightful assurance reports, supporting the escalation of significant findings and the validation of remediation activities.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders across the business, providing constructive challenge and promoting understanding of risk and control obligations.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of assurance methodologies, reporting practices and organisational risk capability through industry insights, innovation and knowledge sharing.
What we are looking for
We are seeking a proactive and collaborative professional who can deliver quality outcomes in a dynamic environment.
- Demonstrated experience in assurance, compliance, risk management or audit, ideally within a casino/gaming environment, financial services, corporate organisation or government agency.
- Strong risk and control mindset, with a sound understanding of risk management frameworks and the ability to assess and challenge control effectiveness.
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to interpret complex information, identify key risks and provide practical recommendations.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities, work independently and deliver high-quality outcomes within agreed timeframes, escalating issues where appropriate.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, supported by proficiency in Microsoft Office and a commitment to collaboration, continuous learning and professional development.
Desirable: Tertiary qualifications in Auditing, Business, Law, Economics, Accounting or a related discipline, along with industry-recognised certifications (e.g. ICA) or professional memberships.
