GROUP SALES MANAGER – HOSPITALITY STRATEGY & COMMERCIAL

This is a fantastic opportunity where you will be driving room revenue, maximising occupancy and yielding opportunities generated from the hospitality business across all three of our sites in Sydney, Gold Coast and Brisbane.

 

A few of your responsibilities:

  • Develop a pipeline of offers to drive sales for hotel/business events
  • Provide leadership with a focus on Business Events and Hotel sales to increase revenue based on reaching and exceeding budgeted targets.
  • Provide strategic direction and a business plan outlining core objective for allocated markets and develop a sales action plan to ensure KPI’ s are achieved.
  • Handle all queries and complaints with diplomacy and tact and refer all problems together with regular and informative feedback to the Head of Commercial Hospitality
  • Provide direction and support to the Group Sales Executive and Co-ordinators for an integrated system of employee relations and performances, while ensuring organisational objectives are prevalent in any new initiatives.

 

What we are looking for:

  • Extensive experience in Business Development in all hotel and business events market segments
  • The ability to effectively work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and successfully prioritise work
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to think strategically and align initiatives with organisational goals
  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively within a team environment
