GROUP SALES EXECUTIVE (INBOUND) – HOSPITALITY STRATEGY & COMMERCIAL

As our Group Sales Executive, reporting to the Head of Sales Hospitality you will support the Group Sales Manager to sell the Events, Hotels, and Hospitality businesses across all segments. The key goal will be to maximise occupancy and yield opportunities generated for our Gold Coast property. 

 

This is a fantastic opportunity where you will utilise your new business acquisition, account management and strong sales skills to achieve revenue growth.

 

A few of your responsibilities:

  • Develop a strong pipeline of group bookings within the Entertainment and Sporting segments and convert existing opportunities
  • Use sales experience to develop strong working relationships with key clients within these segments
  • Attend networking opportunities and conferences to deepen knowledge of markets and build new client relationships
  • Use skill set and hard work to grow revenue and occupancy across all towers
  • Develop a strategic plan outlining core objectives and action for market segments to ensure budgeted targets and KPI’ s are achieved
  • Provide direction and support to the Group Sales Executives and Group Sales Coordinators  

 

What we are looking for:

  • Extensive experience in Business Development in the core market segments of Entertainment and Sporting groups
  • The ability to effectively work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and successfully prioritise work
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to think strategically and align initiatives with organisational goals
  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively within a team environment
