As the Senior Manager Security Development and Capability – Emergency Management, you will play a key role in the development of emergency planning and response, to ensure the safety of staff and guests.

This is a fantastic opportunity where you will showcase your emergency leadership expertise throughout our property at The Star Gold Coast.

A few of your responsibilities:

  • Effectively communicate the learning strategy and development opportunities that support the Star Entertainment Group Leadership Capabilities, Star Qualities and our Vision to develop a career pipeline within Asset Protection specialising in emergency management
  • Maintain accountability of compliance and emergency management requirements and the internal department process in responding to an incident and/or emergency  
  • Development strategies to maximise emergency response capabilities and optimise efficiency and effectiveness of operations.

What are we looking for:

  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in a senior security and/or emergency / fire leadership role
  • Demonstrated ability developing and maintaining fire and emergency management training and operations, including fire panel operation, ewis systems and fire graphics systems
  • Understanding of casino rules and regulations (desirable), relevant statutory and reporting requirements as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience in the development and leadership of emergency tabletop exercises, agency response and the cohesive response to incidents and emergencies
