As our Head of Operational Enablement reporting to the General Manager of IT Operations and Services, you will be responsible for delivering targeted high-quality services across the organisation, with a particular focus on managing property-aligned technology initiatives, leading the IT Disaster Recovery & Continuity function, managing our IT Operations & Services vendors, and leading our IT Operational Audit & Compliance team.

A few of your responsibilities:
- Lead operational delivery teams covering technology operations initiatives, disaster recovery services, vendor management, and overseeing all associated operational governance obligations. This leadership role is an important enabler in the delivery of operational management services across the group
- Provide clear governance to ensure that all technology operations delivery services, are delivered in a structured and consistent manner, ensuring all frameworks and standards are applied
- Lead the accurate and efficient governance of all IT Operations & Services vendors. This includes alignment with the strategic direction as guided by leadership to ensure a consistent and aligned approach is applied
- Lead the IT Disaster Recovery & Continuity function to ensure The Star has a structured and repeatable recovery function, aligned to best practice standards along with all audit and compliance obligations. Ensure regular disaster recovery activities are performed including applying learning’s from previous exercises
- Manage the IT Operational Audit & Compliance team to ensure that all obligations are completed within the set time periods, helping to drive operational compliance within the IT operations organisation
What we are looking for:
- 7+ years of experience in an IT operational management role is essential
- Experience with production, mission-critical and real-time systems is essential
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal are essential
- Good understanding of relevant casinos legislation and associated regulations is desirable
- Previous experience managing complex projects is essential
