As the Spa Manager you will lead a team, drive guest service excellence and manage financial performance, by ensuring there is a level of service that ensures our guests leave the spa feeling relaxed, refreshed, and renewed.

Located within the luxurious Darling Hotel, The Darling Spa offers guests the ultimate Spa experience. Featuring 11 treatment rooms, two exclusive couple’s suites, relaxation lounge as well as a steam room jacuzzi. There is a comprehensive range of face and body treatments available to leave guests feeling relaxed and refreshed head to toe. 

This is a fantastic opportunity where you will build memorable connections with both our guests and hotel teams. 

A few of your responsibilities:

  • Leading and motivating our spa team to continuously deliver five-star service
  • Monitoring financial performance by managing the stock, controlling costs, profit and loss expenses and wages through effective staffing levels
  • Designing strategic marketing plans to meet sales targets
  • Recruiting, developing and training our spa team (including performance reviews)
  • Communicating with business stakeholders to ensure guest satisfaction is consistently achieved

What are we looking for:

  • A strong understanding of spa operations and team management, with a proven track record in delivering outstanding guest experiences
  • Previous experience in the beauty field, with a deep appreciation for wellness and luxury services
  • Previous leadership experience demonstrating the ability to inspire and guide teams towards collective success
  • A passionate and driven individual, committed to providing exceptional guest service and creating unforgettable moments of indulgence
  • Flexibility to work across a 7-day roster, embracing the dynamic nature of the hospitality industry and prioritising operational excellence

About you:

You will have in depth knowledge of spa operations and experience in a similar role within a five-star luxury spa.
