Let’s Talk About You

You are a commercially astute, values‑led risk and governance leader who thrives in complex, highly regulated operating environments. You balance strategic oversight with practical, hands‑on engagement, and you influence outcomes through strong stakeholder partnerships, sound judgement and integrity. You are comfortable operating independently while also working collaboratively across the business, and you bring a disciplined, analytical approach to managing risk and compliance in line with organisational objectives.

You’ll also bring:

  • 10+ years’ experience in senior risk management, governance or strategic roles within a casino or gaming environment, financial institution, large corporation or government agency
  • Demonstrated expertise in governance and stakeholder management, with the ability to work effectively with executives, regulators, boards and operational leaders
  • Proven success in influencing, leading and managing others, driving accountability and embedding risk ownership across the business
  • Strong experience in the design, implementation and ongoing management of risk and compliance frameworks, policies and controls
  • Comprehensive understanding of statutory compliance and reporting requirements, including obligations under the Casino Control Act and related regulatory frameworks
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking capability, with the ability to interpret complex information and support sound, risk‑based decision‑making
  • A track record of delivering projects and initiatives on time within large, complex operating environments
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear reports, briefings and presentations and connect business drivers to problem‑solving
  • Demonstrated capability in building effective relationships and leading change, promoting a consistent, enterprise‑wide risk‑aware culture
  • Tertiary qualifications in a discipline requiring high levels of critical analysis and independent research, such as Auditing, Business, Law, Economics or Accounting (desirable)
