As a Kitchen Steward, you will be part of a team who are responsible for the cleanliness of our back of house areas of the many kitchens, bars and restaurants at The Star Gold Coast. This position is physically demanding and requires a high level of attention to detail but is very rewarding with a great sense of accomplishment at the end of the day!

*Part time & Casual positions available - depending on your availability.

A few of your responsibilities:

• Work closely with our culinary team to ensure all restaurant equipment is cleaned, organised, and restocked ready for service
• Maintain overall cleanliness and hygiene of Food and Beverage venues, ensuring cleaning checklists are completed
• Safely handle and store chemicals and equipment to maintain a secure working environment

What are we looking for:

• Previous experience in kitchen cleaning or manual labour (highly regarded)
• Knowledge of cleaning products and techniques is a bonus, but not essential—we’ll provide training
• Flexible availability to suit business needs
• Good communication skills, with a positive and professional attitude
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
