As the Emergency & Security Planning Manager, you will be responsible for improving precinct-wide safety by developing operational plans for major events and implementing emergency preparedness strategies. Your expertise will be vital in mitigating risks, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering a culture of safety throughout our organisation.

A few of your responsibilities:

• Develop, coordinate and deliver emergency readiness training programs, exercises and activities to enhance organisational response capabilities and resilience, and ensure personnel are prepared to respond effectively to critical incidents.
• Ensure Emergency Management documents and plans are developed and maintained in accordance with legislative requirements, industry best practices and organisational risk strategies.
• Work closely with the Asset Protection Senior Leadership Team to develop and implement robust Anti-Terrorism treatment plans and strategies.
• Continuously monitor and analyse emerging security threats and intelligence to ensure proactive risk mitigation and informed decision-making while fostering strategic relationships with relevant agencies to enhance organisational resilience and response capabilities.
• Compile relevant and appropriate monthly reports and ensure all data and information is accurate.

What we are looking for:

• Previous experience in Emergency and/or Risk Management preferably in the casino/integrated resort industry.
• Current QLD Security License (Desirable), Current First Aid Certificate, Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA), & Responsible Service of Gambling (RSG).
• Solid understanding of relevant casino acts e.g. Casino Control Act, Qld Liquor Act, Security Providers Act, and QLD Criminal Code
• Demonstrated experience in planning and resourcing people, developing productive relationships, and managing & driving change.
