As a Demi Chef in Mei Wei at The Star Sydney, you will be given the opportunity to work alongside some of the best Chefs in our worldclass restaurants!

A few of your responsibilities:

• Run specific sections assigned by the Sous Chef
• Keep informed with the Daily Occupancy Charts
• Oversee duties or work stations
• Advise management of inventory requirements
• Conduct on-the-job training for Cooks and Apprentice Chefs

What are we looking for:

• Successful completion of a Cert 3 in Commercial Cookery essential
• Extensive experience working in a busy, fast-paced kitchen environment
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities
• The ability to efficiently work as part of the team
• Passionate about learning new techniques and skills
• Flexible availability over a 7-day roster
