We are looking for a Junior Sous Chef with Western Cuisine experience to join our culinary team at Oasis Dining. This is an opportunity for you to develop your skills under the supervision of diversified chefs.

Our Private Dining Room, Oasis is known for its exceptional and personalised service with a diverse menu covering the best Asian and Western dishes to deliver our guests a premium experience.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be accountable for leading all aspects of the Western section of the kitchen to ensure that the day-to-day operations run efficiently and effectively
  • Hold relevant tertiary qualifications, such as Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
  • Handle and follow up on all incidents immediately, and report accurately
  • Train and develop your team
  • Have thorough knowledge of menu creation, portion control and preparation
  • Have the full working rights to commit to a roster of 40 hours per week working varied shifts, including weekends public holidays and overnight shifts
