As our Technology Risk Audit and Compliance Lead reporting to the Head of IT Operations, you will be responsible for managing the day to day of The Star Sydney’s technology risk management function. This pivotal role involves defining, identifying, assessing, and managing technology-related frameworks, policies and risks to ensure the business’ information technology infrastructure and systems are secure, reliable, and compliant with regulatory standards
This is a fantastic opportunity and you will play a crucial role in safeguarding The Star Sydney’s reputation, assets, and data against potential technological threats and vulnerabilities.
A few of your responsibilities:
- Design and execute control testing programs to assess the operational effectiveness of technology risk controls, and ensure timely remediation of identified deficiencies
- Develop and Manage Risk and Audit Policies, Standards, Baseline Requirements and Controls
- Implement governance around key processes, and adequacy of frameworks and policies for technology risk management and ensure these are aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies relating to technology risk management
- Identify, evaluate, and prioritize potential technology-related risks across the IT environment in accordance with the property’s technology risk management framework
- Conduct regular risk assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of existing controls and identify areas for improvement
What we are looking for:
- Experience in Technology risk management, Information security, IT auditing, compliance management
- Proven ability to develop and maintain strong relationships across business and technology staff
- Demonstrated ability and proven experience with preparing presentations and reports for executive and senior management
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity principles, and technology-related regulations and standards.
- An industry recognised security accreditation or certification is preferred such as CISA, CRISC, CISSP
- Experience and knowledge of regulation and industry frameworks and standards such as PCI-DSS, ISO27000, COBIT, NIST CSF and related legislation
