WORKFORCE PLANNING MANAGER QLD – WORKFORCE MANAGEMENT

As our Workforce Planning Manager, reporting to the Group Workforce Planning Manager, you will manage the QLD labour resources by owning the rostering solution and workforce practices. With your team of Schedulers and Planners you will implement best practice and drive efficiencies to achieve strategic human capital objectives.

A few of your responsibilities:

  • Directly coach and develop your team, fostering a strong culture. 
  • Manage the team and drive consistent performance, learning and development, ensuring Workforce goals and direction are in line with company expectation.    
  • Drive labour management and reporting that addresses labour related opportunities and threats. 
  • Analyse operating trends and develop strategies to ensure efficiencies and promote productivity. 
  • Own rostering solutions and collaborate with key senior stakeholders across departments to encourage and implement best practice and labour efficiency.

 

What we will be looking for:

  • Ability to collaborate and communicate with a range of business stakeholders to represent the Workforce Planning Management team.
  • Demonstrated understanding of industrial instruments and award interpretation.
  • 5 years’ proven experience in Workforce Management, or HR Management, providing strategic financial advice and decision-making support to stakeholders.
  • Exposure to a casino or hospitality environment preferred.
  • Demonstrated strong project planning skills related to Workforce Planning and wage compliance/industrial instruments.

You are a strong leader with experience managing large teams working in a large and complex organisation. We are looking for someone who is not afraid to be hands-on in the rostering operations when required to support the team and handle escalations.
