Join our team as a Room Attendant at The Star Brisbane & Treasury Brisbane. 

The Star Brisbane, positioned at the heart of the new Queen’s Wharf Brisbane precinct, will be Australia’s newest entertainment and leisure destination. Commencing a staged opening in 2024, The Star Brisbane will bring a range of unique entertainment options, world class hotels, dining, bars, luxury retail, gaming and a state-of-the-art Event Centre, transforming how people will play, shop and socialise in the river city.   

In your role you will initially have the opportunity to work across Treasury Brisbane whilst being involved in the opening of The Star Brisbane.  

The Room Attendant, reporting to the Assistant Housekeeping Manager, ensures that guest rooms are efficiently cleaned and maintained to our five-star standards. They play a key role in promoting positive guest and team culture.  

A few of your responsibilities    

  • Maintain and clean all assigned guest rooms and tasks as per our five-star standard  

  • Complete ‘Turn Down’ if required  

  • Stock trolleys with linen and guest supplies   

  • Release guest rooms to Front Office when completed

  • Use hotel software to communicate with colleagues and log completed tasks

  • A good understanding of time management  

  • The desire to build a customer culture  

  • The ability to build trust and teamwork   

  • Great communication skills

About us   

The $3.6 billion Queen’s Wharf Brisbane development is being delivered by Destination Brisbane Consortium – a joint venture led by The Star Entertainment Group alongside its partners.     

When complete, Queen’s Wharf Brisbane will deliver four new luxury hotels, more than 50 new food and beverage experiences, significant luxury retail, the restoration of nine heritage buildings and around 1,500 residential apartments.     

Our current property, Treasury Brisbane, showcases old-world opulence of a five-star hotel; the non-stop excitement of Brisbane’s only 24-hour casino; the thrill of live entertainment; the glamour of exclusive fashion events; the tantalising taste of unique restaurants. Treasury Brisbane will transition into The Star Brisbane aligned to an early 2024 opening.
