As our Due Diligence Review Manager, reporting to the Due Diligence Manager, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of complex due diligence, vetting and screening actions on a day-to-day basis. Additionally, you’ll contribute to training and upskilling team members, fostering a collaborative and knowledgeable environment.

 

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Due Diligence Analyst to step up in a role that will be instrumental in navigating into the Star Remediation journey and become incorporated into our BAU activity beyond the program.

 

A few of your responsibilities

 

  • As part of the due diligence process, effectively collate, analyse and evaluate complex information from a range of sources including commercial and open-source databases.
  • Organise and coordinate training schedules to optimise learning opportunities and keep the team updated on industry advancements and best practices.
  • Conduct complex due diligence in accordance with both the AML/CTF Program and the mandatory ECDD Standing Operating Procedures.
  • Streamline and execute effective onboarding processes for new members, promoting a smooth integration into the team.
  • Regularly review team work to identify areas of improvement and implement strategies for enhanced efficiency and effectiveness.

 

What we are looking for

 

  • At least 5 years’ experience working in a due diligence, intelligence, investigative or compliance related environment.
  • Management experience, leading and coaching team members.
  • High level research, analytical critical thinking skills and the proven ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Comprehensive understanding relevant statutory compliance and reporting requirements

 

About You

You will play a pivotal role conducting thorough due diligence, handling compliance tasks independently, and making informed decisions on complex issues. You have experience facilitating comprehensive training programs to upskill team members, ensuring a supportive work environment.

 

Your role will be pivotal in shaping the success of our Controls Team in navigating through remediation at The Star. Join us in making a difference.
