As our Senior Systems Engineer, reporting to the Windows Technology Lead you will be responsible for the management and maintenance of hardware, OS and application infrastructure for all environments on a day-to-day basis as defined by Service Level Agreements.

This is a fantastic opportunity where you be involved in developing, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting and optimising server and storage software and hardware infrastructure.

 

A few of your responsibilities:

  • Deliver and manage the Technology infrastructure for all production and non-production environments.
  • Provide input to regular reports on system availability, useability, performance, incidents, root causes and other measurements
  • Conduct root cause analysis and problem rectification, including system changes required to prevent a recurrence of the incident
  • Help to drive architectural improvements and standardisation for the infrastructure environments, including choice of networking infrastructure, hardware, monitoring software and associated application infrastructure

 

What we are looking for:

  • Minimum 5-year exposure to Core Ms Windows technologies
  • Minimum 3-year exposure to Virtualisation technologies
  • Strong technical knowledge of network, PC and platform operating systems and associated hardware infrastructure within a Palo Alto, Cisco, Citrix, Microsoft Windows and/or UNIX operations environment.
  • Minimum 2-year exposure to Backup and Recovery technologies
  • Minimum 3-year exposure to Cloud platform technologies
