Join our team as the Laundry Attendant at The Star Brisbane & Treasury Brisbane.
The Star Brisbane, positioned at the heart of the new Queen’s Wharf Brisbane precinct, will be Australia’s newest entertainment and leisure destination. Commencing a staged opening in 2024, The Star Brisbane will bring a range of unique entertainment options, world class hotels, dining, bars, luxury retail, gaming and a state-of-the-art Event Centre, transforming how people will play, shop and socialise in the river city.
In your role you will initially have the opportunity to work across Treasury Brisbane whilst being involved in the opening of The Star Brisbane.
The Laundry Attendant, reporting directly to the Laundry Supervisor, is responsible for excellent service to all team members through the prompt delivery of uniforms. You will assist with the maintenance of all uniforms and be flexible to assist the laundry team when necessary.
A few of your responsibilities
• Ensure all uniforms are laundered, pressed and placed appropriately in the uniform room
• Perform minor alterations and repairs to uniforms where needed
• Wash and fold all towelling and linen for the hotel
• Provide exceptional guest service to all team members
What we are looking for?
- Flexibility to work across a rotating roster
- Prior experience performing alterations/repairs
- Demonstrated experience working autonomously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail

The successful candidate will have a passion for cleanliness and organisation. You will ensure that every item is intrusted with care and exceptional service is delivered with each team member encounter.

The $3.6 billion Queen’s Wharf Brisbane development is being delivered by Destination Brisbane Consortium – a joint venture led by The Star Entertainment Group alongside its partners.
